    I'd guess because they made an adapter and used a Honda trans.

    i doubt they used a honda tranny, prob used honda axles and changed the inner joints to neon ones..

    OMg now that worth building but damn how much would this project run?
    I check sluts off my list like a maintnence man
    I drive a low is3 just so it gives me a reason to drive super slow on these rough ga roads.

    not a honda trans, and i dont see how they used honda axles becuase the trans is on the opposite side as a honda.

    the motor will bolt to a 1st gen neon tranny, and the early neons had 4lug... maybe they went with that tranny axle/hub etc...

    wires you would need the whole engine harness and dash harness of the srt. As for mounts you would half to make em.

    i dont understand why with that much money spent they didnt just put the motor in the back.
