I think when comedians litter their speech with profanity when unnecessary , it kills the jokes. If you scream/say "fuck every 30 seconds, when you ask someone "What the FUCK?!" or tell someone "FUCK off!" it doesn't hold as much weight. A good comedian can do a whole routine with a buzz and not have to curse a single time, but instead let the audience fill in the blanks.
