    i use to have that on my old hatch i had a momentary switch on the steering wheel and i would hit it a 4000 rpms but that was just to test the vtec noid and it works it hits much harder than it normally would.

    jus chip your ecu for vtec to engage higher for it to kick harder ..... i seen this the other nite ...... speechless

    Switching cam lobes prematurely does absolutely nothing for performance....zero zip not a thing, if anything you lose torque and power...and lots of it. I'd say engaging the VTEC solonoid at 4k would decrease power like 10-20% between that point and where it supposed to engage....BUT they think it sounds cool, lol
