Close, but you're rather misleading. Actually, Minoru Yamasaki was an American architect. He even Studied at The University Of Washington and graduated in 1934. The towers were Co-designed by fellow Architect Emery Roth. The Building was a hull-core structure, Which is a traditional framework with its curtain-wall cladding is being superseded by a structure which consists of two concentric tubular walls, the hull and the core, with the floors spanning between them. Both walls are load-bearing and wind-resisting at the same time. The building was created to withstand such an event, not collapse in upon itself. Also the fuselage did not "explode" on impact. there is no fuel supply held in the fuselage, rather its held in the wings of the plane, which upon impact was scattered throughout the top floors as well as the exterior of the building. Whether or not its utter collapse was actually caused by the crash is still left to skeptics. there are proofs for both parties, as well as alot of seemingly odd missing information. Either way it was a horrible event.Originally Posted by hondab118
this video even better explains the event according to Purdue University, which so happens to be a Largly Republican funded University. So there for still fought upon by skeptics, but still shows the best reconstruction of the event to date.
