    Yeah, that was a badass MK4, too bad it caught fire. It seemed like the guy just stood there and let his car burn up. Even though the fire did spread pretty rapidly, I think more could have been done in his situation..

    When I fist saw this video a while back I went to wal-mart and bought 2 ABC fire extinguishers that day. I keep both of them in my car at all times. One in the trunk and one right behind my drivers seat.

    damn, i know i would be crying. Makes me want to carry a small-medium size fire extingusher(sp)..lol. ive been thinking about it for awhile now. Sucks....at least his next VW will have nice wheels on it.

    thats the best thing that happened to that car. my friend has a 02 gti and the passenger airbag went off for no reason while he was driving down the road.

    the wheels are still ok .
    and he can just wrap the steerign wheel with leather wrap and still reusable ^^.... wonder why he didnt take the shiftnob with him :| i'd save all i can.
