    Mythbusters proved this wrong. it slightly increases the efficiency at which the fuel burns but does not in any way double your milage. If anything in large amounts will eat away at fuel lines

    I wouldn't think it would double gas mileage, but improve it somewhat.

    I wouldnt do the acetone or shut my car off when idling.

    Go for it. IMO its not worth risking having to potentially pay 100's of $'s to replace fuel injection/system components for and extra 2-3 MPG
