Really hard to complain when your being pinned down is it not? There is a world of difference between what you described at a DC concert with the lap dances as oppsed to what akon did. I'm sure the guys at your concert were not forceably pulled on stage then restrained while another person enacted a disrespectful act on them. I'm sure it was completely 100% agreeable with both parties in your case. Akon's however, he is forceably pinning that girl down and doing what he wants. It's clear as day? Would you be outraged if he would've actually raped her instead of what he did? I would like to know where you draw the line on going from "not bad" to "outrageous". Truth be told we don't know if she truly is 14/15/99 or what. I'm not concerned with her age, I'm concerned with his actions. Yes, fine AKON makes ADULT music....he caters to Adults. Should he not act like one instead of some animal? Your completely right that nothing will come of this and nothing will happen to him, but that doesn't mean I cannot express my feelings twords him and his actions. How does this reflect badly on America you say? His tour starts tomorrow in the US, and instead of us voicing our concern and outrage by boycotting his shows and music in protest to his actions, we ignore it and go about our business. That shows that if it's not affecting us directly, who gives a shit. Hence the rest of the world see's us a self centered society that cares for nothing unless it affects us directly. It makes me sad that we're more concerned for our entertainment then whats right or wrong.
