Cobra was a pretty cool car chase. They made 3 Mercs for that movie. 2 stunt cars and 1 driver. They wrecked one during the final boat flip, they wrecked the other one jumping the bridges when the entire front end collapsed. You can see that right after it crashes through the stop light in the air. The one they wrecked over the bridges amazingly is the one tthat jumped out of the second story parking deck. It made the jump and kept going. The last one now resides in North Carolina after being sold on Ebay for round 50grand by a guy who road raced it in the La Carrera Pan America road races for the past 15 years or so. The guy that bought it sent it to the builder in Cali that originally built the car and had him completely redo it to move specs. He also owns another car, can't remember what it is but I think it's either the Bullit car or the original Eleanor.
Neat story to that chase.
