    There's an even faster one out now, the CCX-R, making over 1000 hp. I don't think the Veyron has a chance now

    well the Veyron still technically makes more power (even if its just 1hp) it makes much more tq and has more then triple the devolopment time the CCX or even CCX-R have. Also the Veyron has actually been tested up to its theoretical and physical top speed...unlike the Koenigsegg which required more space then Topgear even had on their runway.

    The car you should be watching out for is the Melling hellcat....1175hp quad turbo V10 and a theoretical top speed of 293 mph :drool:
