Have fun! I'm not very good at surfing, but I LOVE IT. Oh and longboards + small florida waves = fun. lolOriginally Posted by quickdodgeŽ
I don't have a really nice boogie board. I have my one ancient longboard and a $30 boogie board from the local wal-mart. lolOriginally Posted by quickdodgeŽ
I'm trying to get to a smaller board though and mine is like 8 years old, so I'm looking into something along the lines of this:

I ride an 8'4, however I didnt take it with me last week and I rented a 9'0 and loved it. Im looking at getting a 10'0 Al Merrick now

Tell them how big you are, what your expectations are, how experienced you are, and see what shapes and sizes they suggest.
Surf City in Myrtle Beach SC is where I bought mine from while I lived there. Mark, the owner, is a great guy to deal with.
Pit Surfshop, Aqua East, and Surf Station in St Augustine Fl are the shops I did business with while I was in Florida last week.
