    Ok so here is all the information on the car:

    The numbers i was given were:

    $15K in the motor+suspension
    $5K in the paint
    +all inside restoring
    +all outside restoring
    +car price

    + original car price maybe..if he put that much into restoration, that must have been a $500 peice....whats in the motor for 500HP?? im not seeing it unless its nitrous

    G/l on sale man,

    but I have to argree- if you were going to dump 40grand on a cutlass you probably could have bought the same thing already finished.

    wasnt me who put the money in the car. its really a car that someone has to like to want because its not a real collectors car yet

    bump for a g-body...yea if its a 500hp small block it would have to have a good combination to produce that.

    clean ass ride, trunk is not to my liking tho LOL (I was expecting a mean three wheel pic)

    good luck w/ the sale homey, I dont see $40k in there either, nowhere close to $5k in paint, I could go on.. nice STS in the garage too

    The car is probably a 1986 model, not a 89, from 87-early 88 the changed front end to the Euro front...

    Its a nice clean car but not $16k worth....

    ^^ yea you see a lot of conversions on the older cutty's, not so much retro fitting though lol.. I gotta agree not 16k worth, but he did put some money into it.. dont know how he would spend $15k on just motor and suspension either, 500hp can be had easy w/ a small block all day

    yea the **** you will cous if you do just go on and ride to my place and pick my ass up ...

    the pics are not that great to show off the paint... it dont look like much on the camera but i person you will def see why it cost 5k for it.. its perfect and dont right ( non of that maco shit) the motor is a fresh build and has almost no miles on it.... i can vouch for this car and the 16k price for a little toy like this aint much... i guess you just have to c it and ride in it to c what im talken about. this thing would me in my garage right now if it wasent for the 4-7 mpg it gets.

    Thanks. The reason teh paint was so much was because the car was taken apart and media blasted and then every part was painted.

    What kind of heads are on the motor, carb, what size cam is in it...compression, pistons, etc....???
