    Default 91 Prelude si 4ws 4 sale $650

    Ok so I bought this car from 91hondaluder from this site about 5 months ago. The car is a really cool car. It is not running right now due to me having little to no knowledge of engines and their cooling systems and it needs a battery. Car has stock honda rims on it. Needs tires very soon. I have only driven it 2 or 3 times.I drove it from 91hondaluders house to mine and then around the block after I put the new radiator in. The hose that goes into the thermostat housing blew right as I pulled into the garage. I just dont have the time nor the patience to work on this anymore.Plus I would like to park my 06 civic coupe in the garage. Mileage is unknown on the rebuilt motor and that is stated on the title. The two times I did drive it the car has some serious balls!!! WILL POST PICS AND VIN AT LUNCH have to go home and take pics. This is what it has

    I will get pics up at lunch. I know its a cheap fix, but like I said it needs a battery and it may be something more than the thermostat. Remember I am no mechanic by far.. I am selling it cheap b/c I want it gone. It is just taking up my garage from me putting my new car in it. Check back around 1 I will have pics.

    from experience with the same model car, I'm 99.9% sure that cooling issue is the thermostat as someone above mentioned........

    install the thermostat and bleed the system......

    Well that is good to hear. I really just need to get rid of it as is. I have another car and I am not worried about fixing it. Just getting it out of my garage and out of my life is more important. Hence the low price. Someone is going to get a good deal on this car. Someone who knows about cars more than I do will be very happy.

    List of Problems

    1.Can't get the coolant system going. Installed a new radiator and new silicone hoses, bleed the system and it blew the colant line going directly intot h thermostat housing. Which someone posted above that they were 99% sure thats the problem. It needs a thermostat.

    2.THis probably goes along with the cooling but the vents blow hot air. Again I think that is related to the cooling system.

    3. I think there is a wiring problem. The temp gauge and voltmeter both work but the lights dont work. Along with that the person before me installed some type of neon light that turned on with the lights and it is not working. Wiring issues.

    4. I hit the mirror on my garage and it had a half dollar sized hole in it and dented the panel a bit. I pulled it out and all you can really tell is some scratch where I put the crowbar.

    5. It has no power steering, a/c , or a radio. It also does not have a glove
    compartment.

    6. It needs new tires very soon. It does come with a full sized steely.

    7.minor knicks and scratches. Paint isnt perfect.

    Other than that I don't know what else to tell you. You have to see it in person. If it got lowered with some rims it would look hot.Actually if you search for 91hondaluder all his threads on 6/14 thru 6/17 2006 you will see his thread where I found it. It has pics of the car lowered with rims and shit.

    Nothing else is wrong with it mechanically that I know of, but I am not a mechanic. Your friend is more than welcome to come look at it.

    The car is a good car and the problem with the gauges is going to be on (Daily Interlude that used to own it and did all that). The head is a B20A with a B21A1 bottom end (nice power) and the head has been milled to the max (Jason did that). They car will chirp 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and I do miss it because I wish my Lude now would have the power that Prelude did but I am getting there.

    Thanks man, how have you been bro? THe new lude? Hows it coming. Yeah about two months after I bought the car from you I found out that I was getting a new motor for my civic, so I kinda wasted money buying the lude, but oh well. And it does chirp 1st thru 3rd. It has the power where if you stomp on it in first it will peel out like a freakin v-8.

    No takers for 650 ask the man above I paid him 2100 and I put a new radiator in it. I honestly just want to move on.

    I have been doing good... The new Lude is staying like it is because I have put most of my money into my MirraCObike (20"BMX) for this race season for A.B.A. I just bought a new bike and putting new cranks, spokets, headset, and another seat (lighter). Let me know how it goes with selling the Lude. Post it on www.preludepower.com for sale but I think you have to have x amount of posts before.

    Yeah I put it on Preludepower. Hopefully someone will scoop it up at that price. Go over there and vouch for me. I literally only drove it from your house to mine and then around the block when the new radiator was put on. So I barely even drove it.
