unless you want to throw an old plate on it and drive you are more than welcome to, but he doesn't want a random cop calling him about it if someone was to get pulled over..

    its just the easier way

this is my car...and i'm basically selling it as a parts car, because i don't feel like doing the title work for it. I do have the clean, NC title for it...and it will go with the car, but it is NOT in my name...and won't be.

the reason for tow is a few things:
    1. the title, obvioulsy
    2. there's NO inspection sticker, this was going to be a race chassis
    3. no seat belt mounts. the sheetmetal lower seatbelt mount was cut out of the car since it was getting an 18pt cage and harnesses. I have the stock belts there...they are just held on by the 10mm locating bolt. I have some steel i was going to weld in to fix it...but shit, as this price its not worth my time, lol
    4. wrong ecu is in it. right now it's got a Joey Davis chipped p06 that's meant for an f22....it runs great on the little lobe, but it's got no vtec and throws a vtec code. I hooked it up on mgcook's phearable ecu an it runs fine with it.

as for running...i drove it yesterday around town. the heater core apparently has a small leak in it...so i bypassed it.

the car is $4000......and, the parts are deff worth that much. Whoever tows it home, will also get a truck bed full of extra parts...that i mentioned in the thread.

I also have a complete set of obd2 mounts for the car, see as the drivetrain came from a friends ej6 (ek for the ricers on here). I also have an ITR master cylinder/booster and an SI sway bar to go with it....and an SI prop valve, and the 5 lug has SI e-brake cables....so, this would be a great swap into an ej6 for someone....or even an em1.

oh, and as for the engine:
block is an OBD1 JDM b16 shortblock. I got it from my friend Danny, that works at Phantasm Motorsports in Raliegh, NC. He got it (and never used it) off my friend Terry R. (aka Boostfed from Boostfedracing.com and non-driving fame from his 11 second 676whp Si...lol) No one is sure of hte mileage, as it is a JDM engine. It runs fine though...and appears to be 100% mechanically. Has fresh oil in it (engines only been together for a month) and hasn't lost any oil and the oil is still very clean.

the head is off a local friends '00 SI and has like 40k i think on it. It's 100% mechanically as well...with stock valve train and cams.

the tranny is off a guy in Durham that we bought a different Si swap from. The vin, i have no clue about what comes up when you run it...but its an IAS tranny....so possibly show a theft or total in it's history, but it shifts great with no grinds or hesitations to go in gear. It has fresh 75w90 (none of that shitty honda fluid has been in it since i've had it) and a looow mile Exedy organic clutch and aluminum flywheel.

the ITR parts are all legit as well:
shift linkage was bought off a guy on Honda-tech by my friend Jamie (carolinaACCORD) for his last hatch (h2b)...and it's the weighted ITR version...not the gold version that's no different than a GSR...
the throttle body is off MY old '96 ITR swap...i had a 70mm on my 2.1L and this was left over from back then
the midshaft is also from my old '96 ITR...it didn't get sold with the swap and was a left over
the 5 lug/booster/sway bar was bought by my friend Eugene from a guy at the ROCK one race...and they were off na IAS car as well

the DSS axles are the old style stage 2's. They are BRAND NEW. Dave Blundell (owner of pmfi.org) bought them for his car a few years back and just never used them. last time Joey Davis (joseph davis/j.davis for the ecu savvy folks) and i went up to Cinn...dave gave them to joey for one of his cars. Well...joey sucks and will NEVER own a running car...so they ended up in my hands. They have been in the car since it was swapped over (about a month or so...with a total of like...5 miles on them, literally) But, they are legit stage 2's....at least, according to DSS themselves (located in NC now...w00t)

The interior of the car is mostly there...and it's got black rear panels out of my cousins captiva hatch i picked up a while back after it was totaled. I'm working on putting all that in today before i have to go to family stuff....but, it's MOSTLY there...and will just be something extra you can part out...cool eh?

other than what's now said.....i just want hte car gone. I'm done with hondas, i've had a LOOOOOOT of them....and i'm just too old to be playing with them anymore. I'm giving all of my extra honda parts with this car.....and it'd make a great starting point for someone to swap stuff over to another chassis. I wanted to get a 4-door chassis and swap it all over myself, but...i'm too lazy and that's just too much of a possible money trap for me...which leads me to saying i'm done.

wtf are you talking about? $60???? haha, i had 2 brand new OE keys made for FREE. The one in the screw driver being one of them, the other broke...trying to make screwdriverkey ver. 1...haha.

i've gotten no less than 15 new OE keys, and NEVER paid for any of them. And if you DO pay...it's like $3 or something.
