Im in the process of building a 2JZ right now, an shit is EXPENSIVE. ROds $1400, Pistons $1000, cams $600 a piece etc.
Some shops are charging $20,000 for a SHORTBLOCK. Team Toyota has a few BUILT SHORTBLOCKS with destroked cranks going for $20,000 right now. thats just the bottom end, good for 10,000 rpms, and 1600whp.
As he said he built the car 3 years ago, prices change in 3 years. It used to be JDM front ends for an integra were $5000, now they are less than $2000.
