1200's fine for that...
The leaking is caused by these few plastic washers. Once they get old they start to dry rot and leak...you can either take stuff apart to totally replace them, or take off part of the cowl under the hood and use a couple dabs of silicone and never have a problem again.
I had three da's and loved them all.
