94 Del Sol For TRADE

looking for a possible trade on here. she's a 94 Del Sol S with a JDM D15 swap (the stock Y8 snapped its timing belt and seized up about a year ago, thanks to the previous owner lying about having replaced it ).

obviously, many will say rice. ive been in the process of trying to 'un-rice' it for a while now, but lack of funds and time have really limited that alot... and i figure that while i may have outgrown the style, it may be perfect for someone else out there. it has great potential as a project show car or as a headturner first car. plus, del sols seem to be pretty popular recently... so figured id give it a shot.

overall its a GREAT car thats a blast to drive and gets attention on the road.

im biased to hondas. looking for a 97+ lude, an EG, a teggy, or whatever else... but im open to alot, so offer even if it isnt a honda!

EXTERIOR
120,XXX on body
Buddy club body kit
tein s-tech springs (brand new, still in the box - uninstalled)
custom captiva blue with silver metal flake paint
"halo" style aux lights
tinted tails
RSL Ricochet 17" rims
blue calipers and drums
silverstar bulbs

INTERIOR
aluminum billet floormats
blue neons
type-r replica shifter
sony Xplod head unit
black/grey seats (the rarest of the sol seats)

ENGINE
JDM D15 - under 60k miles
"type R" wires - eBaY probably
no-name short ram CAI
type X exhaust

The Good:
Drives very well
BRAND new front tires - kumho ecstas (rears have a good 75-80%)
never smoked in
reliable daily driver
great gas milage
chicks love the targa!

The Bad:
paint is starting to chip away on the targa and around some seals.
small paint defects on the lower drivers side.
small scrapes on the underside portions of the body kit
trunklid has some (color-matched) bolts in it because of the unsightly wing that came on the car.
some moderate curbage on the rims
drivers side window seal is tempermental, sometimes pressure needs to be applied to the window while closing the door.
the ashtray lid is broken... easily the most common del sol problem EVER.

sorry about the images from HSO... cant find where i saved them on the pc. ill get some new ones soon, including some of the full car and the engine bay (i just realized these are all kinda close-ups... haha)

nope, its not too bad at all... its not OVERLY riced out, and as far as the issues listed go, i just wanted to be sure and list every possible thing on there so i can be completely honest about every tiny little problem... dont want anyone getting an unexpected surprise or anything.

i appreciate all of y'alls positive responses. aurelio, twain and boosted lude, check your PMs- im interested in seeing what you guys have got but need some information first

ill take some brand new shots for you guys this weekend, including some that specifically point out all of the small little problems.

for whatever reason, my folder of 20 or so pics from a month or so ago seems to have just magically dissappeared... ... i hate this damn computer.

until then, heres one from the day i got the car. i've since taken the NASTY wing off and removed the vinyls (they are covering the paint defect, which i'll get a picture of when i do those new shots)

and BY THE WAY, i forgot to mention this - - if i ever end up negociating a trade, my buddy owns Major Service Center in Powder Springs, so ill get both cars lifted and checked out to make sure everything is lookin' good.



edit - therzdae: probably not, man. its a good looking car, but im just pretty uncomfortable with german vehicles. I'd bet youd get alot more offers with stock wheels, though, btw, and you could sell the chromies for a bit of a profit. g/l with your sale man, i htink ive seen it up on here for a while now.
