WTB: Cheap car for a buddy of mine

I'm trying to help out a buddy of mine who's fallen upon hard times and needs a cheap car to get to/from work. I don't care what it is or how it looks but I do need it to run fairly well.

I'm going to be buying it for him so I really prefer not to go over $1000.

Mods please don't delete this, this forum gets much more exposure than the WTB forum. If I need to pay the $5, I'll gladly do that to keep it up here.

If anyone has a car, please PM me. I'm located in Kennesaw but can come pick up within 50-75 miles of Atlanta.

you are one hell of a friend...check on craigslist.com. there is lots of cheap decent running cars that you can get for under a $1k. Hope that helps. G/L

I have a 85 s10 that runs perfect, I was asking 1200 to begin with, but since you are helping out a friend ill let it go for 650

i can sell it for $1000 firm but ill keep the headunit. $600 in reciepts, runs great, light front body damage. nevermind my other post, i can sell it today if u want.
