FS: 95 civic coupe auto, $2k
up for sale is my daily driver 1995 honda civic dx, 157k miles/automatic d15b7 2 door coupe. ive owned it since 151k miles and never had any problems, just the igniter inside the distributor failed once, so i just replaced the whole distributor because it wasnt that much more expensive. ive done a decent bit of regular maintainence.
the good: a/c recharged recently, blows cold! power steering. brand new: fuel filter, distributor,spark plugs, plug wires, new thermostat, all done at 155k miles by me. only mods are an intake/aftermarket radio/cd but the cd player does not play cds anymore could be a simple fix i dont know whats wrong with it, but i have another kenwood tape player that was in the car when i got it and will include it in the sale. non smoker. interior is clean. no rips/tears/holes. everything works. no mechanical repairs necessary.
the bad: smokes if you get on the gas too hard, slightly burns oil. i check the oil level every 75 miles and add oil accordingly to be safe. previous owner removed the front 'H' badge
the ugly: there is rust above both rear wheel wells like most older hondas. on the driver side, the rust has caused some paint to flake off, and there is another small spot of rust on the driver taillight.
its been a very good car to me. not the prettiest, and as long as the owner keeps an eye on the oil level its a very nice dd. everything works. however in the first picture the hood is popped. there are some minor dents and dings. the only thing thats 'tricky' is the hood release spring. easy to open the hood but you have to move a lever to close the hood. very easy but if you didnt know about it it would take awhile to figure it out.
