FS: Stroker motor Evo 8 *JDM IS COOL, YOU'RE NOT*
Up for sale is my 2003 Evo. Silver, 50k miles. Car is FUN. I've been dailying it the last week and although its not really THAT practical, its still a blast to drive. Clean title, never been wrecked. I had the passenger fender painted because some dickhead keyed it.
Calipers are starting to fade like all do. The carbon on the spoiler was warrantied by Mitsu but was taking too long so I bought a brand new one from the dealership($) and had it painted. Only paint work the car has ever had.
Mods:
AMS 2.3 SHORTBLOCK
Upgraded Oliver rods, every option available from AMS
Cosworth head (Ferrea everything, 1mm oversize valves, HKS 280 cams, etc etc) Again, every option from AMS.
TRE Tranny. Built with every option, I can't remember what final drive it has. Straight cut gears, etc. It's nasty
TRE transfer case
ATS Triple carbon clutch
AEM EMS
AEM wideband
TME Turbo (16G with titanium shaft/wheel)
Vivid Racing fuel rail, 740CC injectors, Walboro 255
Stock wheels, stock brakes, stock interior, stock CD player, ETC. Car looks bone stock and spools FAST AS FUCK.
Have receipts JUST ON THE LONGBLOCK FOR 12,000 FROM AMS. That doesn't include the AEM, turbo, tranny, transfer case, clutch, ETC ETC.
Have over $20k invested, not including the car. 45k invested total. Put a big turbo on this car and its DONE.
I honestly dont know much about Evos, I bought this car as an impulse buy, and although I love it, its time for a turbo Viper.
