Default FS: 2001 Honda s2000 No rice!

2001 Spa Yellow s2000 up for grabs.

    Clean title/never wrecked

86,xxx miles on the chassis/head and its mostly highway miles between charlotte/atl.

I've recently replaced the top with a glass/canvas one a few months ago, maintained all the tune ups and valve adjustments. There are a couple chips on the driver's fender, but nothing that can't be touched up. Car has never been tracked besides one night at shady side drag strip in NC . New paint on front/rear bumpers due to chips.

    VIN: upon request

Update 9/13/06: New OEM clutch kit being installed by honda.

    Update: 10/20/06

Alright, motivated to sell now because a price on a certain car I've always wanted to have has gone down and I can't refuse.

4,000 miles on the bottom end/clutch now.

Update on 1/18/07 - I replaced the tranny because it would cost too much to replace synchros and I had a buyer with a down payment is the reason I went ahead and forked out an extra grand to fix this. The buyer flaked and now I'm freakin' poor again, so the cost of the car is now $15,000 OBO.

While honda took the car apart, I had mentioned the clutch pedal being a little stiff and they decided to just replace it under warranty, so the clutch has like 1,000 miles, the tranny has around 25,000 miles on it and is in perfect condition, the block is now switched over to synthetic oil and it's a little over 12,000 miles on it. Also, the differential has about 8,000 miles on it.

Again, I didn't have to replace the block because the other one wasn't toast. I was just pressed for time and decided to replace it instead. ALL WORK HAS BEEN DONE BY HONDA.

    Thanks everyone!

Jason - why you selling the car all of a sudden? Two days ago you were talking about doing something and now I see this...

Anyways, your car sounded amazing when you pulled out of my driveway...hell you even woke up the neighbors, well I know you did the people in my house anways.

    GL with the sale man.

I'm in charlotte right now and so is the car. It's getting the new block put in this week and I can have the master installed. It's close to stock, so it's just running high 13s in the quarter. 13.76 @ 102 I believe was the fastest, but it's a 13.8 steady car.

Dyno wise, I haven't been on one in a while. I'd assume it's around 220 rwhp or so. I have to put some of the sound deadning back in and it's in ATL, but since I'm up here you can check the car out when it's done @ honda.

The block will have zero miles on it when I get the car.

GOOD Price, especially for a fresh motor.

FYI, if it makes 220whp, thats the highest s2K without cams, ITBs i have EVER seen, it prob makes more around 200whp.

It wasn't trying to pass it off as JDM. It's IA humor man.

But saying they're NOTHING JDM about it? Why do I have Japanese writing on all my parts? Hell, my dash even reads Kilometers! lol

Anyways, I updated the thread: I dumped an extra $1200 in the car today and I'm having a new clutch kit installed.

Its just so many people try to pass off a car as JDM because they have a few parts on there that are JDM. Not saying that is what you are trying to do, but I am sure you get what I'm saying.
