FS: 1998 Pontiac Trans Am

I know this is a Import Forum, but figured Some guys might be interested in this....

I bought this car last May with 65k on it for $15000. The car was pretty much stock, except the exhaust and liid which i changed anyways.

Back in Feb. Some Idiot was test driving the car to see if they were interested in the car. I was selling to possibly get another Ford Lightning. Well this idot slid off the road and into some very uneven terrain and halfway in a ditch. The car damage was all body. Fully checked frame, motor, tranny, ect. I'm very picky about my car and whats on it. And I wasnt having repaired parts on this car.
The car had everything replaced from Pontiac with all new skirts, fendors, doors, and bumpers. The car was repainted and looks new on the showroom floor.

However recently I beleive i hit a bird, or something, as there are some scuffs on the lower front end.

The car has came a good bit in the mods and I havent' drove it much.

Some Issues with the car are

There is a tear in the passenger seat

The car needs a new air compressor

The car has a warped anxle that will need to be fixed

There is a huge crack in the dash

The seat belt bracket on the passenger seat is broken.

Even with some of these issues, this is a GREAT car.

I hate to get rid of this car, But i need something thats better on my insruance, cheaper on my gas, and something I know i wont kill myself in, lol.

All of these pics are of the new headlight kit.

The stock headlights were fine, but I kept having gears strip. Which is a common issue with Trans Ams. Well they have a aftermarket, "Brass Gear" setup, that works for most. But it would keep stripping for me.

So i went with a company called Breathless Performance. Very good quality, but High Priced.

But here are the pics of the newer headlight kit.

This car is Not a WS6.

When i got it, it had the badge, but lets be clear, this isnt a WS6.

For those who dont know, all a Ws6 is, is a ls1 Trans Am with a Ram Air Hood, SLP Exhuast, SLP Lid, SLP Suspension, and a badge.

This car has better suspension, better exhaust, and a better lid than that.

Its good to see people on this forum that dont automiticaly bash an American car because "my sr would kill that thing its a peice of shit", or "my buddies Supra beats those things all the time". I think trans ams and camaros are badass lookng and they are torque monsters. WS6s and late model SSs are on my list of what to get when and IF I get tired of my 240.

that's a gorgeous bird dude. i'm actually looking for one at the moment. f-bodies are the shit. i agree somewhat about the automatic transmission, however, if someone who buys it wants to make it a total drag car, auto is the way to go. throw some nos and headers and a supercharger in that bitch and you'll be going so fast you won't even have time to shift the gears. i love the headlights also. those are bomb as hell.
