on a built car, you have to at least tell us who built the car, how many miles since the build, who machined it, who tuned it, and most importantly how much power with evidence (dyno sheet).

The motor that was originaly in it was given away. The old block was a B18b and was not fully built. It was not "built right" as it was advertised when I bought it. The block was built by Manny at Revhard Racing. The head work was done by Scotts Auto Matchine Shop right south of Atlanta. I do not have a Dyno Sheet, and it has not been tuned due to lack of funds. Oh, third gear will grind sometimes but only under certain conditions. Most of the time it is fine. every once and a while it will act up. If you just double clutch, or give it a second this can be avoided.
    Thanks for the comments,

I have personally worked on this car countless hours and know the car inside and out. I'll vouch for the engine build as well.

what the crap are you talking about? This is NOT your old motor. I personally took out the block, gave it to a friend (for free) and replaced it with one built by RevHard.

Stop being retarded. You obviously don't know what you're talking about, the hood was in good shape when he bought the car.

The reason you would take a b17head/b18b block out is probably because it was a piece of junk. it was running a stock oil pump, stock flywheel (not the light weight flywheel that was advertised) ,the piston rings were going and the number six main was stripped - your oil leak.

Then take a b18a1 block have it fully built by Revhard Racing and rated to 10,500 rpms (Valued at apr.. $2,500). Take the same head invest about $500 worth of head work and slap it on there and have a beast that runs "smoothly". Also if I or future owner want to go turbo that would not be a problem sense I took this into consideration when building my block.

No hard feelings about the old motor, a friend of mine traded me the rex dash for it sense mine had wholes cut in it. It just gave me the opportunity to upgrade.

Like I said everything has been done correctly. I took the time to do it right. So some one else doesn’t have to worry about it. Thank everyone for the interest and the posts.

    How bout some offers...

and you are correct sir, I was the original builder of that motor but something doesn't seem right here.....I started with the DB2/lsvtec with a B18a1 block and B17 head pr3-2 or something along those lines. The motor had blown piston rings and was smoking and burning oil like crazy, so it was time to start over again. This setup was supposedly built by mahdavi motorsports from which the ORIGINAL owner told me. I then transfered the car down to auto options (which no longer exists now) and began the build. The build I did consisted of a B18B1 block with OEM internals freshly installed with I believe a B16 head pr3-3 or what not. The motor was bone stock with the exception of ITR cams and bolt ons with a vafc behind it which was tuned by bottlefed aka shane (not the btlfed on IA, shane use to work for baranco acura). The tranny that was mounted was a J1 tranny from a crx SiR (great gearing). All at the same time the car was being painted at NATI down the street from phoenix yellow to Gunmetal grey. The project was finished and up and running, EXCELLENT throttle response and very torquey. I then traded the car to a friend of mine I believe his sn is jdmeg6 and he passed it on to austin. After that I have no idea how it came back to a B18a1 block and b17 head, so something isn't right. Hope this helps out.

How hard is it to understand that the engine that was in it was taken out and replaced with another one? Good grief people.

The engine that was in here was not built to specs as it was advertised when brandon bought it. It was a smoking piece of crap to, put it bluntly. We have put quite a bit of elbow grease into this entire car and it has come a very long ways.

calm down dude, I understand that, I was just trying to state the history of owners and who ACTUALLY built the original one. I've done business with you before too, I traded you those konigs that you have remember? But anyway, bump for a badass setup.
