FS: '81 BMW 320i (E21)
Ok, so I've had this car just sitting there for a while and now that I'm moving, so does it. It's a '81 Brown on Beige interior. The car has the more rare 5-spd tranny - most had a 4-spd. It shifted like glass, no grinds or glitches whatso ever. The interior is very clean for it being a 25 yr old car. Exterior wise, well it's in fair shape, looks like someone repainted it a few years ago. There seems to be minor surface rust above the rear tires but doesn't seem to have gone completely through yet. As far as the motor, it was running very strong before we replaced the headgasket. It wasn't blown, just a minor leak. The majority of things had been re-assembled but I believe it has a vacuum leak causing it to not build full compression. I checked for scoring and none seemed to be and the pistons didn't have alot of sludge buildup. I just don't have the time to figure out the problem. I originally recieved the car as a track project but with being in school and working two jobs, just not possible right now....maybe later down the road. I since have bought an E36 ///M, so that's where all my money and when I have time, goes. Since I need this gone ASAP I'm going to set the price at $500. It'd be a great daily or beater most would say. With gas prices going up, you can't beat the MPG you'll get.
