Default FS: 1992 Nissan 240SX SR20det, 5lug, Volks, Tein Flex, etc

Selling the car for a friend. Here's the info:

1992 Nissan 240SX 5spd, with SR20det swap performed by McKinney Motorsports in San Diego, CA in 2001. Overall condition is very good. Engine starts immediately, idles well and pulls very hard. Interior is in good shape, no tears in upholstery, just normal wrinkling of fabric on driver's seat. There are two cracks in the dash on the hump over the cluster. Paint is in decent condition and looks good from a few feet away, but the clearcoat is faded on the roof and the hood and there are a few scratches here and there. There is only one small ding on passenger side rear quarter panel. Air conditioning works very well on the highway but in stop and go traffic it can make the car cut off. When purchased, the engine had approx. 45k miles and now has approx. 75-80k on it. Chassis has less than 160K.

1992 Nissan 240SX Hatchback: black, manual windows, no cruise control, no sunroof

    Engine block code: SR2060926W

    Modifications:

    Engine:
    - HKS step 1 camshafts
    - Greddy/Grex multilayer metal headgasket
    - Greddy/Grex valvesprings
    - ARP head studs
    - Greddy FMIC/piping/hotpipe/BOV
    - Greddy 2 row radiator w/ FAL dual 12" fans
    - Greddy oil filter relocation kit

    Electronics:
    - Greddy Profec B electronic boost controller
    - Greddy Turbo Timer
    - Autometer boost guage and pillar pod
    - 9,000 rpm 180sx tachometer

    Suspension:
    - Tein Flex coilovers
    - JIC upper rear control arms
    - Whiteline poly bushings
    - 5-lug conversion using S14 front spindles, f/r hubs, new S14 balljoints

    Exhaust:
    - Greddy downpipe
    - Apexi' N1 exhaust (not a copy)
    - 3" cat-delete pipe

    Wheels:
    - Volk/Rays Engineering CE28
    F 17x8.5" +32 w/Yokohama AVS 100 215/45/17
    R 17x9.5" +25 w/Yokohama AVS 100 235/45/17
    (tires have excellent tread left)
    - Kyukogen 7 point lug nuts
    - Z32 5-lug spare w/inflator

    Brakes:
    - Z32 front brake conversion/new rear stock replacement w/brembo rotors
    - braided stainless brake lines all around

    Interior:
    - Momo steering wheel w/Nismo horn button
    - Grex shift knob
    - B&M short shift

    Body:
    - Fender flares and Wangan wing (both are authentic JDM pieces, not generic copies)

Rear brake job and oil change just performed 300 miles ago. Brake and clutch fluid was completely drained and replaced. No stereo.

I am probably leaving out several things. I am the second owner of the car and have owned it since 1995. The car has been an ongoing project since I lived in California several years ago. I now have a '93 240 that I would like to build, so I have decided to part with this one to finance the project.

Price: $10,000 or best reasonable offer. No trades. No lowballers.

If interested, please email to: [email protected]
Or call Eric Swart at 706-589-5247. Car is located 2hrs east of ATL in Augusta, GA.

In case you're wondering, these wheels are the real deal. Notice the raised RAYS, FORGED, etc:

I also want to mention getting CE28's in 17x9.5 with a +25 offset is damn near impossible. Hella flush

I was referring to the stickers. They are a common problem among other models. They chip off. I know that are real.

Sorry, that's the one thing I forgot to take pics of. It's pretty clean, and no rust. The car has spent it's life in NC, CA, and GA...so no salt.

Not sure where he picked those up from. But I remember him mentioning they were really expensive though. I'll find out tomorrow.

The fender flares were actually imported by Enjuku, but apperently, the company doesn't make them anymore.

I don't think the car has been repainted at all (hence the faded hood and roof). I'll find out for sure today.
