i have a 2000 xterra its black with 70,000 miles app. it's not 4x4 or supercharged but it runs perfect and im about to put an indash pioneer n1 in it. ill throw in the tv with it too. just let me know

which rebuild kit did u get from roto aviation? is it the master or the simple one? who did the rebuild and do you have proof? Also, is it getting and proper boost curve?

That sucks rick, good luck with it though!

I got the 2mm Seal Kit, O-Ring Kit, and Gasket kit. The motor had been rebuilt 4k miles before I rebuilt it again because the shop who rebuilt it before me did an absolute shitty job and it blew up so I didn't need every single part in the master or simple kit. I did the rebuild myself with a friend (don't let that scare you, I learned from a professional how to do it) and the car runs absolutely perfect now. I have tons and tons of pictures and receipts of the rebuild if you want to see them. I forgot to mention on that link that the car is non-sequential, so the boost is constant and perfect. The car pulls very strong. I can't stress how perfect the engine is on this car (which is RARE with a rotary). So basically a little TLC on the exterior with the paint, and you'll have a BADASS car.

Basically I'm selling because a) I want an Xterra really bad and b) I've dropped well over 7k on this car and I just don't want to spend any more on the body.

hey from an owners point of view... dont get an x-terra... there cool if you get one thats 4x4 and supercharged but if its not supercharged there slow as dirt. they ride stiff as hell and if you go on trips or drive like an hour a day the seats are horrible. if you want one day i copuld meet you and ill let you drive mine and well go off-road and ill let you do a real test drive. but from my point of view as owning one for a year. i dont like them at all. but just get back with me and id be more than happy to let you drive it and everything. maybe we could get some more people to go offroading one day?

Right right, still twin turbo, just instead of a 10-8-10 boost pattern, it's a constant 10.

And thanks for the info rick. Yeah it will be hard going from an RX-7 to an SUV, but I've wanted an Xterra for a while now...I guess if I don't like it I could always sell it, but the 4x4 Supercharged is what I'm going for so maybe it won't be too bad.
