    yeah i mean its worth the $900 in parts alone and engine/tranny are good for half of that there selves.

    how bad is the throwout?

    wtf does it do anyways.. i had a car that made noises b/c of the throwout, but i never figured out what it does..
    keep the clutch in place?

    WHEN ENGAGING THE CLUTCH THE SHIFTER FORK PUSHES THE THROWOUT BEARING AGAINST THE FINGERS ON THE CLUTCH WHICH THEN RELEASES THE FRICTION DISC ALLOWING YOU TO SHIFT GEARS. MORE AND LIKELY FOR IT TO BE SQUELLING THE INNER BEARING ON THE THROWOUT BEARING IS SHOT SO THATS WHY IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.
