Once again, I'm trying to help my friend sell his cars, sooooo up next is a custom 1989 Mazda MX-6 Turbo for you Mazda (or turbo) lovers out there.

This car comes with a 2.2L Turbo engine and is a 5 speed. The chassis has 200K+ miles but engine has no more than 130K. Since this is not my car, I'm just posting how much info I know about the car. If you want to know more about it, just call the owner. The asking price is $2000obo

yes. because any motor with all those years of grease and dirt caked on it is probably a motor that hasn't been paid the best attention..

stock the car isnt worth 5k but about 1250 thats kbb listing only 130k on the car. the mods you listed dont even amount up to 5k with the value of the car. where the F2T motor has proven itself to make some intresting hp numbes stock with just the updating of the turbo setup and ignition along with some type of managment system. you havent really provided info information about mods for the engine to warrant the price, infact it looks like the engine bay was payed little attention to, from what we see in the picture.

personally if it was me i would say 2k would be fair value to start at, with what is listed. I've owned a grand total of 4 mazdas (88 mx6, 93 b2200, 93 mx3 gs, 93 mx3 se) and i have only owned 1 honda which i had sent to be crushed 4 months after owning it so the attacks about b16 or sr20 are not absolutely relevant. Also you are going to a heavy Honda/Nissan Forum what do you expect? Might try mx6.com, probetalk.com, mx-3.com, clubprotege.com these forums have more relavant to the car you are trying to sell (probetalk since the older probe gts used same motor and tranny).

not trying to give you a hard time or lowball you, but dont put your numbers so high with what the car should sell for, i understand that everyone wants the absolute most they can get for it, but sometime we want way more than its worth, a more realistic number will keep the attitudes away, and allow the sell to progress faster.

Really that was just a price to throw up there that's why I put OBO up there. I talked to the seller and wants to part with it for about $3500. Also, for more info on the car call the seller!

I drive a 1991 GT with 118k miles on it. Everything is all original and in super shape. I'd honestly never ask more than 3000 for it prolly, even though it has low miles and its in great shape. That white one is pretty clean besides the wing and the red interior. Good luck with the sale, I love these cars, and if yours were a bit less expensive I'd probably make it mine.

actually i think the interior looks better, but thats only because i hate the stock burgundy interior.. And plus its a 80's car not many survived the horrible burgundy interiors..lol

Yeah, this was one of his first "show" cars from the early 90's that's why the interior that color. But overall its a good and quick car.
