If anyone is interested in a trade, lemme know. The car would probably drive under it's own power to Atlanta, but would probably be best towed. LMK if you are interested in trade and whav you've got. Going on ebay soon. Bout to move and have too many cars.

Trades: I'll consider any comparable civic or accord but needs to be reliable and I very much prefer working A/C. Very interested in trading for an EF EX Sedan in good condition.

Vouches: Bought a motor from EF9Si on this board

    Engine

    • [li]New spark plugs[/li]

      [li]NGK spark plug wires[/li]

      [li]Nismo motor mounts (less than 1k miles)[/li]

      [li]New coolant temp sensor[/li]

      [li]New air filter[/li]

      [li]New fuel filter[/li]

      [li]New oil and filter[/li]

[li]Car has a stock exhaust that I had to do some welding on in order to get

the car ready for selling.  It has some pin-hole leaks in the exhaust.[/li]

[li]**Runs enough to get where you're going but doesn't run properly.

Engine reported to have "high miles"  You may want to consider towing if

      it is going far.[/li]
*The engine has great compression (180 across the board).  I am not sure
why it is not running well.  It's probably something simple like a bad
injector or spark plug wire, bad TPS, MAFS or something.  I have removed
all unnecessary equipment from the engine, bay.  No EGR, AAC valves. Only
vacuum operated components still on the car are the FPR and secondary butterfly
actuator. Feel free to send me an email and set up a time to come see/drive
the car before the auction is over if you like
.  I'll be out of town or
busy most weekends because I'm in the process of moving
    Transmission & Drivetrain

    • [li]Transmission shifts smooth. All synchros are good[/li]

      [li]Nismo transmission mount[/li]

      [li]JDM Silvia VLSD - works awesome[/li]
    Suspension

    • [li]KYB AGX adjustable shocks (less than 12k miles)[/li]

[li]Suspension Techniques lowering springs (less than 12k miles)[/li]

[li]SS Braided brake lines (less than 12k miles)[/li]

[li]Hawk pads (up front, less than 12k miles)[/li]

      [li]Aluminum subframe spacers[/li]

[li]Auction includes a pair of wheels that match the front.[/li]

[li]Subframe spacers make for a slightly noisy ride because vibrations from

the road and differential come through the chassis more, but decrease wheelhop

      substantially.[/li]
    Interior

    • [li]Beautiful S14 SE seats.  They ARE NOT PURPLE.  My camera makes

them look purple, but they are dark blue and light blue.  Very nice

      seats.[/li]

      [li]Crack-free dashboard. [/li]

[li]Converted from HUD to standard instrument cluster[/li]

[li]Carpet is kinda purple and has the standard missing carpet near the trans

tunnel, but the floor mat covers that up[/li]

      [li]New head liner[/li]

      [li]Power windows work great[/li]

[li]The car previously had an e-manage so instead of soldering back the wires,

I got a 100% stock harness from the junkyard and installed it.  No

      spliced engine/ecu wires![/li]

      [li]Sunroof does not leak[/li]

      [li]New shift boot[/li]

[li]Passenger side power window switch cover missing. I keep forgetting to get

      one from junkyard.[/li]

      [li]No radio is included[/li]

[li]Car is running an Auto trans ECU so it idles a bit high for a few seconds

      after coming off the gas.[/li]

[li]Missing cover for ECU. I'll try to find it.[/li]
    Body

    • [li]Front bumper sags a bit but can be adjusted to look better[/li]

[li]has a couple dents and dings.  Behind the driver door, there is a

dent I tried to pull out, thus the hole there.[/li]

[li]Spoiler is only held in by a couple bolts, I lost the others. Makes a

      little noise going over bumps[/li]

      [li]Shaved trunk keyhold[/li]

      [li]Shaved Antenna hole[/li]

[li]Trim around back window still seals fine, but is a bit dryed out and could

use replacing if aesthetics are important to you[/li]

[li]Car has been spray painted, obviously.[/li]
    Other

    • [li]Brand new Walbro 255 fuel pump[/li]

      [li]Brand new battery[/li]

I can vouch for this seller. Man what a deal, a Civic for a drift machine!!!
Also, you'll need to include a vin number man!

    VIN: JN1MS34PgPW304027

Car ran a lot better today. Changed plugs, exhaust manifold gasket and put a new O2 sensor on there. Ran PERFECT and pulled hard for about 5 minutes then started running crappy again. Let it cool off, ran perfect for 5 minutes, went to crap again.

It is a cam or crank position sensor bro. That is a common symptom of one going bad. When they get hot, they don't work right, but let them cool off and it is fine and dandy. Get er running good bro and we will talk.

I can try that again but I've put 3 different dizzy's in it. Guess it wont hurt to try them all again tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

It definitly sounds like that could be the problem b/c of the way it runs. When it's in "running bad mode" it misses sporatically.

Are you sure the only crank/cam position sensors are only in the dizzy? There aren't any on the head or tranny bell housing?

I'm 99.9% sure the CAS is in the dizzy. Well more like 100%

Accord - Tempting, but to consider it I would
    a) have to see lots more pics of the damage
    b) have some type of written estimate for repair. I dont do body work.

written estimate- along the 500 dollar range.. maybe less

then a 900 dollar paintjob.. no rust on the car's body panels at all.

where are you located i can drive it there and let you test it out or something.

haha, by written estimate I mean a guy that works at a body shop has written down on a quote form $500.

I'm located in Auburn, AL which I think might be too far for you to drive relative to my interest level right now. It looks like it has great potential but not sure I'm diggin it all too much right now but it's an option that I'm leaving open to possibility. If the bodywork was done, I'd be much more apt to start making a deal of course. Turbo F22 would be nice.

They are some america-racing wheels that everybody hated in the 90's but now they are cool or something. I used them to have a second set of tires.
Here's what happened to the last set of rear tires:http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...slos13&pl=true

97Accord - Like I said, I'd be much more interested if you could get me a written estimate on the damage and some more pictures. Most places give free estimates.

Cool deal. I look forward to seeing it. We did a homemade turbo install on my buddy's 94 and it put down 260whp and like 268tq. He's now putting an H22a in it though. LSD, cams, greddy header. Good stuff. I've also owned a turbo F22 but it was in a lude. same thing.

Durty - Im tryin man but gotta keep all my offers open. I really like your hatch and wish you'd quit being a crybaby about the bad running thing and just agree to a straight up trade. j/k If you wanted to do a straight-up trade, I'd throw in all my spare parts: dizzy's, mafs, injectors, ECUs, steering rack.. Can't blame me for trying
