I said, the previous owner must have rolled some miles on your car prior to you purchasing it. Since he bougth it on sept of last year (or so he told me).

actually, all that has to mean is that the car is EXEMPT.
IE, after so many miles, they dont carry records on that particular vehicle. So it may be OFF a few thousand miles, so what, who the fuck cares, is there a difference between 135K an a 180K? not on a honda. not imo
My CRX's actually have NO MILES aka EXEMPT written on them because my speedos never work an the miles never go up, oh well, fuck it.
its not like he INTENTIONALLY rolled the miles back to increase value of the car.
