if i was you i would get a 93+ na and do the turbo swap on it. Another thing u might want to make sure, that the mr2 has all 100k work already done to it - like the timing belt, water, hose from hell, new axles on the lsd mr2, and other thing. this can get expensive as hell, ive spent 2k+ getting all of this stuff done.
Im trying to find you a 2. I was talking to skyline1 about importing a 2, u might want to consider that.

it takes a while to find one
but you'll rarely find one in GA and if you do.. its either beat or okay cond.
mostly you'll find them in Cali/ texas/ and up north.. (which i doubt i would buy them) but good luck finding one.

hey.. i'm tired looking for an mr2 shell. but heres' what i found. i got a cheap mr2 91. good condition.. the only think is it's in SC. about 4hr drive.. the car is drivable.
I bought an engine off of 95 mr2 turbo from my friend everything works fine. He changed engine to JDM to get more power. I didnt want the engine go waste, so I looked for N/A and swap this engine.. now the engine still here and couldnt find the shell.
If you combine the shell, my engine and install them.. would be cheaper i guess. since I never find them till now.. I'll sell the complete engine, tranny, ecu, turbo everything. lmk.

I have a 1991 N/A red MR2, I just did the JDM engine swap about 7 or 8 months ago. It has apexi N1 exhaust,turbo timer. Blitz boost controller(type-s). HKS BOV and intake. 5 zigen wheel(16') with Yokohama ES100(almost new). Tein Flex coilover. autometer boost gauge.LSD transmission. it is GEN2 3sgte, let me know if u are interesting thanks.

let me take few pics, do u mind leave ur e-mail address cause I dont know how to post pics...Body has around 150000 miles. engine is strong,new waterpump clutch timing belt NGK spark plug and TRD spark plug wire. Paint and exterior is on OK condition. Seats needs to be replace. I took good care of this car,I use Mobile 1 engine oil(every 3months) and redline MT90 for transmission. If u really interesting, we can meet somewhere and let u take look the car. So If u have any question, let me know.

get that car checked out, i dont know the seller but be very careful buying a na swap to turbo cars.*i always think something is up when some sells a swap car in less than a year that they did the swap* A lot of ppl take short cuts, but u prolly already know this. I hope everything is ok, so that you can get this car.

Just want to mention one thing, this car doesnt have any problem. the reason why I am sellin this car is because I am going to transfer to 4 year university, need money for tuotion.
damn I found a bad ass rx7 and i might sell my mr2
update the front bumper is crap now, but i just order a border front bumper. I was going to get it painted next week, but this is too good of a deal to let go by my. pm if you want to come by and drive it.
