Iv had my s40 for a little over a year now, with no problems what so ever out of her. The car is in good shape running wise, but has a few interior issues, and the front bumper's paint is chipped otherwise i would try to get 4300 out of it.
The door panel cloth is coming unglued as well as the headliner, so i have taken the head liner out. The door panels are not that bad, but they can flap in strong winds, with the windows down. With a little
time that issue could be fixed with some interior glue.
The car has 139k miles on it, great running engine,and smooth changing tranny. Has new tires on it with at least 80% tread left, and iv kept only synthetic oil in her.
Theres a very tiny exhaust leak, that can only be heard when you crank the car, but once it has warmed up for about 30 sec it goes away.
Would make a great car for a growing family. The price is FIRM so please dont ask to lower the price, Im very interested in trades, so let me know what you have. I really want something with
a 5 speed again. Autos are nice for a while, but I love driving a 5 speed.
