'89 was the last major exterior change for the MKIIIs.

There is no way that car is an 89. Technically speaking they started making the new body style in 88 with the turbo-a. Soooooooooo... Considering they didnt make turbo mk3's in 86, That is either an 88, an 87, or there was some body work done to the car.

I didn't say the car was an '89, but rather that's when Toyota changed the MKIIIs. That car is an '88 IMO. If you look at the taillights, they are pre '89, and if it's got a Turbo badge, I'd have to say '88.

I know you didnt say the car was an 89. The SELLER says the car is an 89. I was agreeing with you and adding on to why it is either not an 89, or has had some body work done.
