There who goes? Dan and I knew a person wanting to purchase it. We told him it was a DD. Then I read that it had no title. Lots of cars don't pass emissions, but people still like to have the title....salvage, parts or otherwise. Our 240 has a parts only title (it will never have a legal tag or be registered...but the title is still in Dan's name) and we still wanted it incase anyone ever had a question as to whether or not we purchased it legally or not You also have to keep in mind that a lot of cars have been stolen recently and this may be why people would want a title...to cover their ass Not to imply that this car is stolen, but like I said...people still have the right to make sure their ASS IS COVERED.

I met Peter this weekend and he was very nice. I'm not sure what the deal is with you, but I'm sure that I brought up a point that many people would be curious about when thinking of purchasing a car. Especially one that costs this much. He should be prepared to answer questions like this when trying to sell a vehicle. It's a very reasonable question with no ill intentions.
