    well im trin to find for/under 16,000. i dont care if it has mods or not. id like to install my own but if there is some o well. but i like all those that u ppl sent the links to but im sure there askin for more then i can spend.

    I'm going to tell you something no other wrx owner will tell you. DONT BUY ONE.

    Thats right, they suck, as soon as you eek past 300hp you are going to start breaking stuff. Do you want to pay $5000 for a tranny, how about $2700 for a clutch. Do your self a favor and buy something else.

    Like a nice mustang.

    he's right about that... both of my friends bought wrx's and both of the tranny's went out in no time.... for no reason! but the one i posted for you has had a lot done to it since but he's askin like 23 i think for his so... but let me know!

    Haha true. Still fun and reliable up to that point though. Just get used to having to baby your tranny all the time.

    Either will be reliable. WRXs are notorious for the weak 5speeds (the 6speeds are a completely different, almost indestructable beast). If you just take your time between shifts and let the synchros do their thing you wont really have any problems.

    The main problem is people coming from 2WD cars are used to being able to just pop the clutch with gearshifts. On a 2WD car you'll chirp your tires between gears, on an AWD car you'll just torque the shit out of your entire drivetrain. Same goes for launching.

    I know an EVO owner and his stays in the shop!

    As far and the Tranny goess that stock clutch doens't take too much of a beating but it's understandable.

    both cars are good cars if you leave 'em stock and drive them conservatively but who does that? LOL

    Buy a supra, very reliable untill you break the 800hp mark... then its just your stupidity that'll possibly cause problems then
