    Default FS - 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V - cloud white

I am selling my 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. This car is a blast to drive and it has plenty of potential and I hate to sell it but money is getting really tight right now since I moved out and I'm living on my own. The car itself has about 74,000 miles on it, mostly freeway miles. However, the engine, transmission and clutch were all replaced sometime around 2003 when the car had 40,000 miles on it due to recalls. I have all the paperwork on those recalls if anyone wants to check them out. Now it has the 2003 engine and transmission in it which are obviously stronger and the transmission actually has a taller second gear and a few other things that I may have missed. I bought it back in January of this year from the original owner who, like myself is also a mechanic, had kept up on all the maintenance, services, recalls done by Nissan and so I have not had one single problem out of the car since I bought it. It has been garaged since I bought it and it only has some very very minor pebble chips in the hood and windshield but no dimples or cracks as a result. The paint still shines flawlessly and it has never been wrecked and it has no scratches, dings, or dents on it. The interior is in almost perfect condition, the drivers seat fabric is a little dirty and shows a little bit of wear but there are no tears or stains anywhere in the car. It also has power everything (pdl, pw, pm,), cruise, 4 way adjustable drivers seat, power trunk release, OEM keyless entry with remote trunk open, and the A/C blows cold. Since the car has no sunroof or ABS, it actually saves weight and it can be Auto X'd with very few modifications and it has some very very good brakes. Nissan did it right when they designed the braking system for these cars.

I know that Nissan just started offering a Brembo front brake option for these cars that should work on this car if you have the cash for it. These engines respond very well to modifications; i.e. a catless header produces around 10 more hp to the wheels on a stock engine. I am pretty sure that the new Altima SE-R powerplant (265 hp, ??? lb/ft of tq, 3.5L V6, 6 speed manual transmission w/ LSD) may drop into these cars but I'm not sure and I also know the wiring and exhaust may or may not be tricky since the stock engine is a 4 cyl. and the Altima SE-R is a V6. I also know that there is a turbo kit on the market that produces 265 whp at 6 psi and 255 lb/ft of tq and there are also talks about someone offering a supercharger kit in the very near future.

Stock need to know info for anyone who doesn't know about these cars:
2.5L 16v DOHC inline 4 cylinder with variable intake timing
    Two stage intake manifold
    180 hp
    180 lb/ft of tq
6 speed manual transmission w/ LSD
    2750 lbs. curb weight
    Performance OEM braking system
    Sport tuned OEM suspension system

    List of modifications:
Nismo CAI w/ Nismo bypass valve
    TWM short shift kit
    Motor mount inserts
Megan racing midpipe and axle back exhaust (sounds beastly )
    Progress group lowering springs
215/45-17 Kumho Ecsta 711 tires with 50% tread left on OEM Nissan 17" wheels
Pioneer 6.5 4 way speakers, stock CD player
    Pre-wired for amp and subwoofer
Reverse EL gauge faces (not too ricey)
Genuine Italian leather shiftboot and armrest w/ red stitching (looks like ITR)
Removed front Nissan emblem and all Sentra SE-R emblems (Spec V still there)
    Removed plastic engine cover
Oil changed every 3k miles with 5W-30 synthetic

    Extras:
All the original paperwork and owners manual
    Spare set of front floormats
Ingalls front camber kit (didn't need it with Progress springs)
Adapter for aftermarket CD player installation
    Nissan OEM car cover

I am a die hard Honda fan and I have never owned anything other than a Honda or Acura until now and since I bought this car all I have to say it is definatley a blast to drive and it's going to be hard for me to let go of this one. It feels just as solid as a Honda and it handles really well and the only thing that I had to get used to was the low redline of the 2.5L engine. The car is extremly quick and the engine has plenty of HP and TQ to get it moving even at freeway speeds. Due to the fact that the car has such large displacement, it has off the line and crusing torque that you will not believe or you will ever find in most imports unless they have some good modifications...obviously. And to go with the large displacement of the engine, Nissan also designed these cars with a very very good performance braking system as stated above. I have done full Integra disc brake system swaps on hatches before and this car can stop just as well and maybe even better. This car would make a great car for anyone looking for a larger performance vehicle or someone who has kid(s) and still wants a sporty vehicle.

I was asking $12,000 for the car but I have not had anyone really interested so I will take $10,500 for it and no less than that.

If anyone wants the vin or has any questions, just message me or call my cell 678-758-9174.

    Thanks for looking.

Didn't get a chance to wash it since the rains so sorry for the fuzzy and dirty car pics...humidity killed my camera.

Dude cool car, but the the VQ35DE will never ever, ever, ever fit in this car. You can turbo the QR25DE. Great car, such a shame aftermarket companies haven't embraced the car like they have for Honda. Good Luck with the sale !!
