    Default F/S: 1997 Taurus SHO

I am selling my 97 SHO, 235 HP V8 32 valve engine. I Bought it in June and it runs excellent. I replaced a coil pack on the #1 cylinder, I cleaned the intake and modified it for better flow ( I used to be a Ford tech speializing in these cars) but that is the only mod done to teh car. The car is in pristine shape, the motor was very clean inside no varnish or gum deposits.

The body is in near perfect shape, needs touch up paint in the usualy areas.

Am/Fm Cassette with 6 disc changer ( changer is broken...wont eject the cartridge...you can hear it trying to but it doesnt move- these are cheap on ebay). A/C works and is cold. Needs a A/C clutch ( $60 or so)

The Main problem withthe car is teh torque converter failed. I can replace it but I dont have the money to do so. it was my daily adn didnt expect to put anything into it.

the interior is 97% perfect like new. Runs great looks great rides great.

    $1200 OBO

bump. whoever buys this will love it! i loved my 1995, and I imagine the 3.4 v8 responds a little better to mods than the 3.2 v6. This is a good deal! my 95 sold for 2k with a mismatch hood and 1 good size dent!

yeah all it needs is like a tanny which all in all isnt that bad or if you can find the toque converter seperately.

The V8 and the V6 are entirely two different animals but you can modit to run a 120 shot of NOS on it all day long factory and run in the 13's. all you need is a K&N filter and a good cat back to do that( well with a dry NOS kit)

my 92 was sick..... bores it to a 3.2... lowered the compression for a supercharger....never got to the S/C but it still hauled ass...it had everything. Sold it to start a new project.

anyway Ill get these pics up tomorow

and does the spare tranny come with the Trq converter?

    Im interested and have a 88 Civic HB....that i might can.....well we'll see.

But my best friend would be HIGHLY interested in the TSI sitting next to it, if it still runs or maybe even if it doesnt.
