I got a bike for sale. Its a 99 GSXR 600. I was gonna keep it but something has come up with work and i need to sell it. It now has a new front rim and tire along with new rotors. Id like to see 2000. may go lower if your serious.

What about the fork? That bike is obviously a track bike that's been badly damaged. Besides the fact that a GSXR-600 is a FAR cry from a ninja 250... a salvage title isn't a good first bike for a beginner.Originally Posted by wannab20hatch
Try cycletrader.com put in kawasaki as the make and keyword 250.Originally Posted by aznqc
Unfortunately, even though there are a TON of ninja 250's for sale... everyone tries to sell them for what they paid for them because they only drive them for 3k miles before they want to upgrade to more powerful bikes.
Unless you're dead-set on a ninja (probably the only faired 250cc bike that is widely available), I would suggest you look at other starter bikes. I just got a Suzuki GS500 last week (http://riftwave.net/misc/gs500.jpg) for less than what most of the 250cc ninjas i've seen go for.
My friend is also bike hunting for his first bike, and its pretty tough right now... there are a ton of people looking and all the good deals on 500&600cc fzrs, yzfs, and katanas are getting snatched quickly.
Make sure that your first bike purchase has a CLEAR TITLE. All you want to do is get started riding, so a clear title is *much less* hassle than trying to get something repaired, and registered and/or street legal.
Good luck!

Who said anything about a salvage title? It has a new frame with a clean title. And all it needs is a left fork. Perhaps you should read more carefully before you go posting worthless info. It wasnt a track bike either and i started out on a 600 it isnt that bad.Originally Posted by Tarzanman
