Default 98 Saturn SL2, great DD

I'm getting rid of my perfectly good DD for another project car. Not the smartest idea but I'm doing it anyways. I bought it here last year with a blown automatic tranny. I swapped it to a 5 speed and rebuilt the motor while everything was out. I used 1mm oversized Hypereutectic Moly coated pistons, shaved the head/block .030 total to raise compression, OEM Tri-Y stainless headers from a 92 DOHC, new timing chain, water pump, Centerforce clutch, Powerslot rotors, and a few other things. It was never a race car but since I had many of the parts laying around from previous cars I figured I'd give them a home. I later replaced the struts and the inner/outer tie rods. The motor has about 15K miles and the car has about 225K, had about 210K on it when I got it. The struts were done a few thousand miles ago and the tie rods were just done this week. It still gets nearly 30mpg hwy and about 24 city. I haven't driven it much except for longer trips since I ride my bike every day since its more fun and uses less gas. I'm asking $2400 obo for it but need to get it gone fairly soon.

The whole reason I bought this car was to have a DD I wouldn't mess with so I'd focus on my race cars. I used to build several performance Saturns which is where all the parts came from. Since I couldn't ever sell them I just put them on this car to get them off my shelves. It made a damn quick DD which is why I don't really want to sell it but I'm not going to get another car without first getting rid of one, I have too many as it is.

The sad part is that its my DD not Tyler's but him and Jamey have driven it more than me whenever they blew up their cars.

Great car. I have even driven this thing once or twice and it is quite quick for a saturn. This would make a nasty sleeper or a good DD
