Crankwalk means that your crank has excessive lateral (or horizontal) play. Basically what happens is when you push the clutch in the crank slides within the block. If you installed a heavy pressure plate like 2600 or 2900 Act clutch that will increase the chance of getting it. There are various theories about why it happens, but nothing has been proven or is set in stone.some symptom of crankwalk are:
1.Fast ticking noise when you push in the clutch (it's also RPM sensitive)
2.After making a hard left turn, the clutch pedal loses hydraulic pressure and won't come back out unless you pull it back out with your foot.
3.Shifting is hard at random times.
The best way to find out if you have crankwalk is to measure the end play of the crankshaft while depressing the clutch. If the you can visibly see the crank pulley move while the clutch is depress, then you have crankwalk.
