well im not buying the car. but i am sorry if i made a post that hurt the sale of the car. (which i doubt cuz if you like the car you will buy it nomatter what i say) but i think the potential buyer should know the opinion of the other people. since some buy the car to brag to people about how they own a skyline and not know a whole lot about it. im just giving them an idea of what the car is like in my opinion.

I think it's around 220 crank. It pulls pretty hard, though. One could always swap a 25 or 26 into it and have a sweet drift car.

There's two ways too look at it...
1) It's a public forum and any post that is made is open to criticism.
2) Anyone is allowed to sell whatever they want at whatever price, does that mean they will get it? Nope. Does it mean you have to buy it? Nope.
As for price, it may be high BUT that is all 100% relative. You can get a similar car for under around $5k plus shipping BUT there is no guarantee you'll even receive the car. Drive-on/drive off shipping is $800-1000. A crate is a minimum of $1,200 plus dock fees for loading and unloading. Then you have to deal with customs. If you don't have the paperwork from the DOT and EPA then they have the right to either put it back on the boat or crush it.
1) There's no guarantee they'll even ship you the car, who are you to dispute it with? Just wait in line with the millions of other Americans ripped off from overseas purchases.
2) There's not really any insurance coverage for losing it or damages it on the boat.
3) There's no guarantee you'll successfully legalize & register it.
You factor all that in then is paying the extra few thousand $$$ not worth it to have it at your door the same day ready to go with no red tape involved?
^^ What he said.. plus... I'm gonna guess that not many of you have ever tried to register a JDM car that is not US titled. There's a RHD 1992 del Sol SiR driving around ATL because I couldn't afford to register it and had to sell. In order to get a JDM car registered, if it was a model that was offered in the US like the del Sol, you have to get it to USDM safety specs. That means swapping out ALL the glass, the headlights and tail lights, adding front crash bars if the car doesn't have them (JDM del Sols don't and a lot of JDM cars don't because you rarely go fast in Japanese traffic lol). And the kicker is that all of that work has to be done and documented by an approved shop. And because the shop is approved, they charge you an ASSload. In the case of my del Sol, after paying $8k for the car, I found out it was gonna cost almost $4000 to get all of that work done at the ONLY certified shop in Athens. Then after that, it was gonna be another $200 to get it inspected, and then I would have to pay title and tag fees.
Long story short - the fact that this car is ready to go and is titled alone makes it worth it. The seller saved the next owner a LOT of trouble and heartache.

Keep in mind that while I was in Japan stock 89 32 GTS-t's sold for around $3,000. And shipping to the U.S. plus other little things runs about $5,600. So $11,000 is kinda high priced in my book. If this had a RB26 then I could see a price over $10,000 being ok.
What is this car registered as exacally? Cause FYI R32's are no longer legal to be registered, unless this one was registered prior to 2006.

This car is a good buy for someone who doesn't care to deal with the process of buying and shipping these. More so it's a good buy for people who don't know the process of shipping, etc.
But be warned, if this car was "imported" post-2006 it's a risk factor cause it's illegal. Only 96-98 33 GTR/GTS/GTS-t/GT-25/GT-25t models can be brought in now. Those other models already registered prior to the change are still legal.

Only if it was imported/registered prior to 2006, if you look at the current list of accepted vehicles you'll find only 96-98 R33's are allowed.

BTW. The car is titled as what it is. It's not motorex or anything like that, so there could be a minor risk, but I think its one worth taking. After all. Swapping engines with non-EPA compliant motors is illegal, but people do it all the time. The trickiest part of the whole thing is getting the car into the country under the radar. Once that's done, it's pretty much a cake-walk. So, I guess for the people who have the balls and money to import the car themselves, then you might come out a couple grand cheaper than what the seller is asking. The point is..It's here titled and ready to go to the next willing buyer, and its his perogative if he wants to spend the money.
On topic. I still haven't found out about the status of the car, but I will find out today and post it. Thanks for looking!
Update...The buyer is about an hour out from meeting the seller, and the deal should be done in about 3 hours or so. So, I will let you know later if it is a done deal.
