    Default TW/FT 1999 Honda Civic LS/VTEC

Hey folks, I am just testing the waters for my car. I really want a swapped del sol (not beaten) a 97-2000 Prelude (not high mileage) or an EK hatch with a swap. It doesn't matter if I sell/trade or not. As you can see in the pics that I have the car is immaculate-shaved dooor handles and all. Here is a link to some pictures:
    http://forums.importatlanta.com/showthread.php?t=9856

The car is located in Charlotte, NC and has close to 57,000 miles on the body. I only drive it on the weekends.

    This is what it has..
    Engine
    1998 B18B Block (40,000 miles)
    -balanced and machined bottom
    -Crower Piston Rods
    -Arp Rod Bolts
    -8 lb Flywheel
    -polished crank
    -Greddy 4-2-1 Headers
    -Golden Eagle LS/VTEC Conversion Kit
    2000 B16A2 Head (38,000 mles)
    -SI Pistons
    -Skunk 2 Cam Gears
    -STR Competition Fuel Rail
    -LS Intake Manifold
    -AEM CAI (Painted black)
-Chipped (Skunk2) OBD I Integra GSR ECU
-Walbro 255 lph fuel pump (intank)
    -Tanabe Catback Exhaust
    -Stock Civic SI Strut bar
    -Stock Injectors
    Transmission
2000 Honda Civic SI Transmission (38,000 miles)
    -Exedy Stage 2 Clutch
    -BM Shortshifter

    Suspension
    -Skunk2 Coilovers
    -2" Drop
-18" rims wrapped in Toyo Proxes 215-35-ZR18
    -Skunk2 Rear lower srut bar

    Interior
    -Momo Formula Steering Wheel
    -Momo Pedals
    -Custom Green Carpet
    -Corobeau Clubman seats
    -AutoMeter Tach Molded into Dash

    Exterior
-Civic Si Front bumper w/ Mugen Lip
    -Blacked out Headlamps w/citylights
    -Shaved door handles and locks
    -CF hood
    -Si Foglights

    Audio
-Polk Momo 6.5 Components with Crossovers
-Polk Momo Carbon Series 4 Channel Amp
    -(2) 12" Polk Momo Subs

The only change from the pics is that I bought a RED OEM Valve Cover. The car is already wired for amps and the doors are covered in Dynomat. It has Power windows and doors (doors pop open from the key fob), Power steering (just need the belt).Like I said I don't have to part with the car, but I really want a slightly modded Del Sol, lude or EK Hatch. Whoever buys the car will get with it with the Polk/Momo stuff unistalled. If you have any questions hit me up at [email protected]

    Thanks
    Simeon

I really couldn't think of a price. That is why I wanted to trade for the del sol, EK hatch or prelude. I mean if you want you can shoot me an offer.

That ride is looking hot!! What happened to the side mirrors?? I love the white paint. Is it Championship or Taffeta White?

It's not really that I want to get rid of it, If I don't find what I'm looking for I'll just keep the Civic and be somehat content. The fact of the matter is that I wanted a del sol but when I was shopping around for one all I saw were like 93 base sol's, rusted with about 160,000+ miles on them and the owners wanting top dollar ($4500+)for them. So that is why I am looking for one ieth a swapped B series engine or H22 (that is asking alot for the H, I'm being realistic!!)

how quick is your car? i might be interested in it.........how many miles does your chassis have on it, and have u had any problems with it?

my del sol had 106k on the dash and like 56k on the gs-r motor.....as you know the paint is brand spanking new, i think i might be interested in trading you....you interested?

The chassis has 56,870 miles as of 8:00 am (I don't drive it during the week!). The only issue that I have is that the 3rd gear synchro acts funny after driving for a couple of hours straight. It doesn't slip in or out though.

The transmission is not messed up, but it isn't perfect either, Just going into 3rd gear from 2nd (not downshifting from 4th to 3rd). Sorry I haven't had a chance to dyno the car. I would like to keep the rims, maybe the seats. That all depends on what is being offered.

What is really hurting you at this point is no proof of how the bottem end was built. LS/Vtec's are very finicky and need to be built correctly and the paper work showing proof of what is done would help. I know you bought the car that way but just stating what I see.

    Good luck with it.

Thanks Teg I appriciate the input, I will have to get in contact with the original owner (i am the second) to retrieve all the paper work for the botom end. I know from doing a little research the improper LS/VTEC setups can be volitile (oops I forgot to drill the oil line! ) Or one guy who told me, yeah I took my LS/vTEC to 9000rpm then it died

exactly, if not built correctly they are a ticking time bomb. Good luck with getting the info.

I found out that the conversion was done with a Golden Eagle LS/Vtec conversion kit. AZn as for a price on the car...I really don't know i was looking to trade, but if the price is right I will sell it. what are you looking to spend? LMK
