as i said, thats with tires spinning through 1st gear, i had bad traction problems that night. also my r/t sucked. That was my best out of 5 runs. It was really really crowded. Also i didnt have any trany mount bolt in, so i was loosing torqe. Now the body kit is on, im seriously thinkin bout fixing this bitch up and keeping it.
the front bumper changed my mind alot bout this car, and showed me what i can do with it.
seeing it with the body kit modivated me to get it all fixed tommorow.
so price is goin up.

16's LOL, that is not even DECENTLY fast. My 1999 CX that was BONE STOCK ran a 16.9 on shitty 13 inch steelies. Those cars dont have enough power for you to calim "traction" issues. you just cant drive and your car is slow, end of story.

i would like to say i told you all so. this car is slow, if anyone thinks a 97ex that runs a 16.9 quarter mile is fast, your an idiot. The amount of time this car took to run the quarter mile my bone stock tC could go 0-60-0-60 and still be faster than this car.....

trust me i know all about this car..it sat in my garage for 3 months. i saw him run at the track.....those 17's were pretty sweet. it never fails to amaze me that when he sells a car it always ends up being a lie about stuff. cant you just honestly sell a car??? if you want your old hatch back pat is gonna sell it. i assure you he does not want his old coupe back though.

oh yea, i just gotta coment on this......

you spun all the way through 1st gear??? all the way? that means you spun for the whole duration of 1st gear....thats insane! i was running that night to...i spun through first gear and part of second....but idid not run those times....it was a little faster.

i never ran a qtr mile but i ran high 9's/low 10's on teh 1/8( which isn't the fastest around and i dont claim it to be but its not slow)...and thats with chrome 18's, full system and body kit....so dont claim that to be fast. Thanks ( makin all us Civic owners look stupid)

and why are you sellin your body kit in the for sale section...and you didn't even know you were selling buddy club 1 sideskirts rather then buddy club 2 like you was advertising.

The track was fucking crowded,
and yes, I did run alot of 17's cus Im not used to the car, i never race it on the street or even practice. So I was having bad R/T's, also yes tires were spinning, the tires were hard as a damn brick.

that track was hardly crowded....there was not even 100 racers.i did not tech in untill 9:00 and i was only #73. it does not really matter. i dont care what your car ran. i dont wanna see the slip, i damn sure dont want you at this house. not used to a 17 second car huh? i ran my car for teh first time the same night you did...i ran consistently with 1/10th of a second all night....first time ever racing a civic with more than 80 hp. look, im not really trying to bash you too bad, im just saying that you should be more honest with ppl about the stuff on your car.......unless you have dropped about 3 grand into that junk pile you dont have shit. of all the shit you listed about 5% of it is actually there. just be honest and you would be suprised how fast you sell your car..even if the price is too high.

i said a good reason.....you listed a byunch of bullshit that can be said about any n/a 4 banger.

a D16Y8 has 127hp & 107lb/ft .....you shitty ls has 140hp & 121lb/ft

thats a 13 hp difference and a 14lb/ft difference.......so you are telling me that becuase of these oh so tiny differences the motors suck?????

please enlighten us on your thinking process and give us some good reasons, cause the way i look at it you got a one more cam and make the same hp and torques as a sohc with bolt ons......why dont you go ahead and list the reasons why a b-series is so much better.

i dont care either way....ill take both of the motors, both are well built deals. i as well as others would just love to hear your logic behind this

Hello everyone,

Look, I'm the guy that traded my integra with 177,xxx miles on it for his lil 97 EX with 88k on it now. This kid's car is fucking slow because his motor mount is fucking busted, yeah, busted, as in you can jack up the motor and it will jack up away from the mount. This kid owes me $500 and will be givin it to me on the 23rd, otherwise he wont be gettin his title to his teg and we will be swapping back cars, although hes already fucked mine up.

The Ex had no sideskirts, a/c, ps/ and the core has damage and the dent in the back, and it also had no exhaust. The tailights are wanna be Si's with cheap paint, no emblems . . .

I knew all this and he agreed to pay me $500 dollars. However, I didnt know that the motor mount was fucked, the gauge cluster had no face for warning lights, his tires were super swampers, had no rear speakers, the wiring is shitty, and that the driver's side window wouldn't roll up and down. "Because thats normal, for any 92-00 Civic to do that right? Civic windows are notorious for fucking up, right Corey?" . . . . bullshit, this car has caused me more time and money, but im gonna go through with it. I will have my money on July 23rd, and we'll seal this deal. At least I hope, with no tricky shit involved. After I did the deal, i found out who this kid really is. Saw shit on here, import lounge, all kinds of stuff . . .

The car already has skirts, gauge face, exhaust (THANK GOD), and jdm black housing headlights are ordered from jdmshit and on there way . . . future plans include, but no limited to : fixin the rest of the fuck ups, a new paint job after the front core is realigned properly and the dent fixed, cf hood, TRUE Si tails, my wheels im waiting to put on it, and not sure if im gonna sport the d, or swap it . . but at any rate . .

I'd be interested in coming to GA sometime and show you guys what this car SHOULD have been. We'll be representin Hattiesburg and Biloxi, MS, were we take ricers out in the public streets and slit their throats.

the clutch just shit on me last night, the ac compressor is dead, needs a new tail light, needs a new rear motor mount, needs new carpet, neeeds new rear peice below the tailights, needs repainting on the front bumper, needs a new windshileld, needs 1 new ac line, also needs all new rotors, all new pads, 1 new rim, cars tires had to be rotated and ballanced, needs new struts.
yes so ummm. ure car needs work too dude. your car in perfect condtion isnt even worth 4,000$
that car in perfect condition with the low miles is worth almost 6,000$
seriously com on!

Oh hey I kind of wanted to know. Whats the wire on the driver side door running too?? Is it an amp wire?? It kind of looks like a orange vine running through the door. Working on this car has been quite funny for me. We find all kinds of stuff that shouldnt be there. Like LEDs were the emblem was. Oh yeah the oil is old and low so it wasnt changed. You were also missing hte lower ac motor mount and the high side ac hose. But weve got the car looking and running better than when we got it. Thats what friends are for.
