    Default 97 240sx with 2jz-gte swap! Cheap! $11,000 obo

    With Mainstreams permission my 1997 240sx is up for sale. Clean title!

    $11,000 obo!!!!!!!

    First off this car needs some work. Car needs a new water pump, cam seal, fuel pump, driveshaft rebalanced, and coolant line fixed going to the turbos. Mike at Mainstream has offered to rebalance the driveshaft for free, look over and inspect the car for any potential buyers, and also because he is a really nice man, through in an extra set of twin turbos for free. Mike can quote you on how much all these parts will cost, they are not much!

    With all this being said the car needs about $1,000-1,500 dollars of work to be a complete good really fast daily driver car.


    2JZGTE Swap (J-SPEC MOTOR), 5 Speed Tranny
    40k mile motor
    Swapped by Mainstream Performance/Turbo Dave, they did just the swap, did not supply the motor.

    3'' EXHAUST WITH 3'' DOWNPIPE.
    17' Advan SA3Rs (super advans), 225 up front 255 in the rear, all new tires.
    Koyo Radiator with 2 10'' fans

    Car originally dynoed STOCK BOOST, STOCK BOV, STOCK ECU, STOCK WG at 300whp/300TQ.

    Consulting with Mike at Mainstream we are both certian if someone put in the wrench time to fix these small problems then this car would easily sell for 17K on a place like Supraforums.

    Thanks for posting that landon.

    yes what he says is true, i will throw in a complete set of twin turbos off a spare motor i have, and we will rebalance the driveshaft for the new owner.

    how did they route the fuel lines? the stock hardlines come out on the passenger side of the car but on the 2jz the rail is on the driver side?? you interested in any kind of trades?

    car is driveable, although unless you want to overheat due to bad water pump and coolant line busted I wouldn't really recommend it.
