I traded my 95 4Runner in excellent condition to this guy today on the basis that the car ran great and had 159K miles on it. Well, I test drove it and it sounded fine so I went ahead and did the trade and on my way back down 85 I noticed that the odometer was not moving at all. I called him after work to tell him about the odometer and he told me that he had just been working on the car the day before and must have pulled the wire loose that makes it work. Well, my father called me and told me that the title read 159k miles and was dated two years ago, so there is no telling how many miles this car has on it. Also, the a/c does not work and I brought the car by my mechanic and he said that it's going to need a new engine within the next 4-6 months.
