    Default FS/FT-1986 SuperCharged MR2/LSD/Sunroof/Upgrades

Ok tell you what $5,000 thats what I paid for it and thats as low as I am going.

Now to the good stuff. I will be quoting Bill(previous owner) a lot here

1986 with 155K on the chassis. PW, PDL. Had a Levin Supercharged engine/LSD tranny transplant a couple of years back. Runs great!!!

Suspension = Suspension Techniques F/R anti-sway bars, TwosRUs front endlinks, Tokico Illumina shocks, Eibach springs, TRD bushings, steering rack bushing changed, inner and outer tie rods, new CV boots.

Brakes = Just rebuilt all four calipers. Fresh pads. Speedbleeders installed. Master Cylinder rebuilt. Slotted rotors.

Body = '89 Plumley mod spoiler, clear light mods on the 87+ tails, custom "PapaL" vented frunk lid, SC engine lid, Toysport front (small crack in center), '87+ side vent, shaved antenna, custom paint, tinted windows.

Engine/tranny = 4AGZE with oversized (170mm) pulley. SPAL fan on intercooler. LSD tranny. Brass shifter cable bushings. Exhaust is a TRD header married to a JanSpeed exhaust, AEM adjustable cam gears, Kirk's motormount inserts, and GM Syncromesh in the tranny, eManage.

Interior = '00 Spyder fabric seats, Kenwood head unit, Bazooka 8" sub, 4x6 Blaupunkt speakers in doors, Memphis Audios in the front. Custom embroidered armrest pad. Momo leather steering wheel. JonO Shortshifter kit with RSe plate, TwosRUs shift knob. Lots of little stuff done, like installing 87+ gauges and glovebox lid lock.

Misc = Battery relocation mod. TwosRUs engine lid lift and trunk lift. SSR Comp wheels in 15" wrapped in Dunlop SP8000's. Viper car alarm. Clear corners.

All A/C equipment is gone. Just the heater remains

I have the title and it's clear. Bill had a CarFax done on it a long time ago and there was nothing bad on it. ALOT of documentation you'll get, along with some other stuff, like the first issue of Car Magazine that compares the MR2 with the Ferrari 308, a BGB (big green book) for the '86 AND the '88 (since it has a supercharged engine in it), along with a Haynes manual.

big box of hardware (has tons of big metric bolts, like the ones that go through the motor mounts, etc. These come in handy if you need to put the engine on an engine stand. I put some other stuff in just now, like a bunch of light bulbs, a can and bottle of touch-up paint, supercharger oil, etc. There will be a lot of spare hardware

Only small issue I get some brake shake in the steering wheel when I brake hard at around 45 mph. Not really a problem it does not hinder the braking ability.

    I am in Knoxville,TN

    Thanks for looking

Very clean looking car. Seems like original supercharged mr2's are pretty hard to come by these days.

define nicely built, and too what price range? ive got a friend with a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege he is thinking of selling. its a Turbocharged 2.0, LSD FWD, Tein Coilovers all around, Racing Beat: (front and rear sway bars, strut bar) AWR (motor mounts, short shifter), Injen intake, Turbohoses upgraded sidemount IC, 626 intake manifold, Rota Slipstreams on Yoko ES100's, and a bunch of interior work. the car is fast in a straight line (mid to low 200whp range in a light chassis), but handles like no other car on the road.

I am just looking for a straight up trade. I have no money to offer. Car needs to be around the $6,000 mark. Because I could sell this car for that.

But to tell the truth I would rather the fwd car be built for n/a power and torque.

    Would love to find a modified MK3 Supra or RB20DET, RB25DET 240SX.

    Thanks

I like that MK3 of yours. It would just take a bit of cash plus the car for me to trade

Just so I could do some power modifications
