    Kind of a broad question. What do you want the car for? If you're going to track it and have it as a weekend track project, then that's one direction. If it's going to be a daily, I wouldn't worry about the "fastest" engine. Maybe a good, quick engine. And if it's to be a dedicated (getting to work and such) daily, I wouldn't turbo it. No reason to get the "fastest" engine for a street car.

    By the way, I believe the fastest engine would be a Formula 1 engine. They rev, if I remember correctly, over 18,000rpms.

    lol a F1 engine would suck so hard to street drive
