assuming its from an "m" motor?
not from the price, just statistically
perhaps if you had added what car it came out of?

The W58 that came in the MK3 supra and the one that came in the SC300 were slightly different... The MK3 is not as long as the one out of the SC, see so there is a difference*

Correct me if I'm wrong, but thats what a shop told me when I went to do the conversion!

    7m and 2jz w58 differences.

The 2jzge w58 are considered the strongest out of all the w58's due to different metal materials used for extra strength.

The 2jz has a different tail housing and shifter which sits further back. Needed for most swaps.....

The most important thing is that the 2jz has a 2jz bellhousing!!!!!!

    2jz w58 will fetch $600-1000
    7m $200-400

    That would be a 7MGE or 5MGE... Not a 2JZ

Unless it came out of a 93+ Supra then its the 2JZ W58...

If it is the MK4 Supra tranny then I want to get my hands on this...

But I need to see pics man, post some up if you can please!!

That tranny will hold ONLY up 500 Hp at max even with a good clutch, and even with that amount of Hp your asking something to break. either way GLWS hopefully I could sell mine as well...
