Inline 6, 3speed, 4x4, Runs and drives great, gas tank has small leak but new one can be purchased from CoolCruisers.com, lots of aftermarket accessories available. Was going to build a fun summer trail rig but don’t have time. Has some light rust in common FJ40 spots, but as a whole, a solid driver. Aluminum 15’’ Boyds wheels. Fair tires.

Has front receiver tube bumper- perfect for a winch, and stainless tool box for battery and winch accessories.

Truck currently sits with hard top resting but not bolted to tub, with soft summer half doors on. Also have bikini top with a sunroof like panel which will be the perfect summer solution.

Have lots of extras to throw in: 2 nice Recaro seats (tan cloth), Additional exhaust from newer FJ40. New running boards in box. Original hard top doors are included and in great shape. Also 2 axles, one front, one rear, which appear to be from a newer Ford Explorer are included. Would be a great option to go with and have 4 wheel disc brakes, although these drums stop just fine.

I had planned to throw on the bikini top and repaint the cruiser after some body work and just leave the hard top off until the winter. With a little work, this will be a really fun truck for someone.

I've driven it around a bunch. Strong truck. Tranny shifts fine...The tank started leaking last week, and has since drained most of the gas. They have some nice poly gas tanks on cool cruisers.com for not very much money, so that was my plan with which to replace it.

But alas, we have more important stuff to do right now than to restore this, so on it goes to a new home.

There are 2 guys who are supposed to be coming to look at it tomorrow and friday off of craigslist, but I'll certainly keep this updated.

No offense to jeep people, this just blows an old cj5 or cj7 out of the water. Fun fun fun.
