AE86 GTS for SALE!!

for sale is my 1985 Toyota Corolla SR5 converted to GTS.

$3000 FIRM....cant go any lower

clean title
chassis mileage--251xxx
motor mileage--unknown
4age Hi-Comp motor w/ itbs.
stand-alone ecu
ACT clutch
front suspension
stitched welded chassis from front to rear(track ready)
relocated battery
gts rearend with rebuilt LSD
drilled slotted brake disc all around
stripped out interior(door panel not taken out)
Nardi steering wheel w/ quick release hub
fender wall is sprayed with rust protector
no A/C
no P/S
crack on the windshield

found a small oil leak coming from the distributor seal(i took the distributor cap off to trace the leak and found that it is coming from the distributor seal)

-it has an extended hole after the shifter for the 1jz transmission to fit but i already covered it up so hot air cant go through. yes it has a 1jz engine in this car before the 4age was swapped. thats y it was stitched welded to strengthen or stiffen the chassis

Bump for a good guy, he bought the white ae86 from me, fair price considering it already has the itb setup on it, and those engine swap are pretty difficult to keep the fuel injection on a car that was carbed so it is well worth the money, since you don't have to worry about the headache of swapping the engine

ae86 are legends

^^ i understand man. but because of its scarcity of corollas, esp. hatches, it made the price go up. if ur an AE86 enthusiast, trust me, u would understand. u can check club4g.com and look up classifieds and compare cheap and high priced corollas. u would see the difference in the price from its features or "whats done to it". and thats where it really goes down to.

and this is what AE86 enthusiasts share

esp. the painstaking effort to adapt itb's to a 4AG-E which i didnt have to go through all of it. the person who i bought it from is the same person who did work on setting up the engine and hes a good friend of mine and considered as one of the 86 gurus here in georgia. and adding to it, the motor it self is a Red Top Hi-Comp and thats where im gonna base my price from.

im not arguing with ANY one. i just wanna INFORM anyone who is confused on why corollas are overpriced.

since im gonna be removing my self from the car scene due to college funds issues, the price would be negotiable. just throw me some offers and we'll see if we could work out a deal.

but if things work out for me financially, then i might consider keeping it.

its a red top motor if im not mistaken. the 16v has a blue top and a red top version. redtop being the Hi comp. and then the black top and silver top are 20v the 4age

there seems to be a small oil leak on the distributor seal but nothing major and i found a nice car to replace my corolla, so to sell QUICK im dropping the price to $3000. i bought it for $4000 but now i just want to sell it to buy the other car and move on with life

sorry but cant go lower than $3000. take it or leave it.

hahaha....i just saw ur car at the school parking lot today.

..anyways, im not sure what brand the suspension it is but only the fronts has it. rear spings were cut. the mileage on the odometer is 251xxx but the motor is unknown.
