Default Big power pit bike dyno number... before and after.

Hope Everyone has a great holiday!!

Today we are wrapping up a few projects here at the shop and winding down before we take our holiday brake. So we decided to throw the new pit bike on the dyno for a quick tune while the race car is down for some new mods.

For those of you that have been following my Member Journal you know what I am talking about.

    Onto the fun

These things must be detuned from the factory to keep the little kids from hurting themselves. With a quick adjustment to the afrs and an intake silencer mod we were able to make some decent gains.

Here are the before and after numbers. The baseline pull was stopped short because it was taking so long.
Gotta love the accuracy of the Dynojet dyno, it just amazes me how it can pick up even the smallest amount of power increase.

they want a steeper head angle for quicker turn in, they loose a little stability at higher speeds, but with the .51 hp they picked up they might want to reconsider. Off set keyway on the stator/flywheel to bump the timing up and they might have a runner.

    That's a mean machine.
